Conducting recycling and upcycling workshops enable us to create new cool products out of disposed of items or trash we find on our regular Beach Clean Ups

We create new household products from plastic bottle caps,  bags from old T-shirts, planters from coconut husks and so much more.

These workshops help to reduce our impact on the environment and gives people an opportunity to learn what they can do to reduce their own footprint.

HOW DOES IT WORK ?

Location

We might head to the beach, looking for plastic caps, coconut husks, material or driftwood.

Teamwork

Upcycling in a group is more fun, and can help brainstorming new ideas for reusing the trash.

Workshop

Upcycling the products together in the open air, makes the day so much fun.

Fun

Making something that you can actually take home, or even sell if you think its so good.

WHY RECYCLING AND UPCYCLING ?

Driftwood Fish

With landfill overflowing with trash, a throwaway culture and a lack of knowledge, we need to improve our habits and education to learn how we can use items that we discard.

By utilising items that we find on beach clean ups and from our own households, we can create something almost cost free, that can be sold or used by ourselves.

UPCYCLING FACTS

Upcycling reduces our usage of resources, such as fuel, water, forests etc. It also helps to reduce our impact on air and water pollution.

It reduces the amount of trash being sent to landfill or being incinerated.

It save energy by reusing items instead of buying brand new manufactured products.

It saves money, and allows you to be creative, coming up with new solutions and new products with the trash that you have found.
